Join us for the UK Universities Asia Careers Insight Series of 15-minute presentations from top recruiting employers to discover graduate career opportunities in China, Southeast Asia, and Hong Kong.

The Asia Careers Insight Series takes place from the 4th to the 6th of March 2025 and has four separate sessions covering China, Southeast Asia and Hong Kong. China Days includes an opening employer panel discussion, followed by a series of short 15-minute employer presentations. Pick and choose the sessions you would like to join!

Please note that China Day sessions will be conducted in Mandarin, and the Southeast Asia Day and Hong Kong Day will be conducted in English. These sessions won’t be recorded, so please join us alive. Sessions will start at 8am London time each day.

2024 British Council career development workshop

Study UK career development workshops are designed to provide Chinese students who are currently studying at UK universities with updated information about China’s job market, trends of industrial development, employer expectations, and the recruitment process that China-based employers usually follow for returning graduates. Students will also learn about the ways they can improve their professional skills and prepare for a career in China upon graduation.

Speakers consist of HR directors and senior managers from leading international and Chinese companies, representing a diverse range of industries, as well as successful alumni entrepreneurs who have developed their own businesses after graduating from the UK.

The workshops will be delivered in Chinese. The main format of the workshops will be panel discussions, with live Q&A sessions facilitated between students and the speakers.

From 1st July 2021, eligible international graduates in the UK can apply for the Graduate Route visa. This is a new visa designed to allow 2021 graduates to stay and work in the UK, initially for 2 years (3 years for PhD students).
